Learn how Lifesight bills customers for profiles, and SMS. Read about our plans and inclusions.

Updated over a year ago

Lifesight Engage offers flexible monthly plans for its customers, with two types of plans to choose from: the base plan and the SMS plan. The pricing for the base plan is based on the number of active profiles in the Lifesight account, while the SMS plan's pricing depends on the number of message credits required. In this article, we will dive into the details of Lifesight's billing plans, inclusions and billing cycles, as well as how customers can downgrade their plans, if necessary.

Types of plans on Lifesight Engage

Lifesight offers two types of plans for its users to choose from:

Base Plan

The base plan includes profiles and email, and it is mandatory for all Lifesight users to have this plan. The base plan is contingent on the number of active profiles in your account, which are profiles you can message and who are not suppressed. There is no email limit in your plan.

SMS Plan

The SMS plan is an add-on to the base plan and is dependent entirely on message credits, which is the number of text messages you want to send per month. The number of credits required to send a text message depends on where your subscribers are located and the type of messages you send. Failed deliveries also count toward your SMS billing plan's limits.

Billing Cycle

All Lifesight Enage's plans are billed on a monthly basis, and the billing cycle depends on your personal billing cycle. For free plans, it's always on the first of the month, while paid plans renew on the date you began to pay for Lifesight. You can view your billing cycle by clicking on your username and going to the ‘Billing’ section.

Viewing your plan

To view your Lifesight plan, click on your username, go to the Billing section, and check under Plans.

If you want to downgrade your plan, you can do so at any time, but it will take effect on the next billing cycle. Lifesight does not refund downgrades, as stated in their Terms of Service. It's important to note that Lifesight cannot auto-downgrade your plan, so you must do so manually.

Takeaways

Lifesight Engage's billing works on a monthly basis, with two types of plans available: the base plan and the SMS plan. The base plan is mandatory for all users and includes profiles and email. The SMS plan is an add-on to the base plan and is dependent entirely on message credits. You can view your billing cycle and plan details in the Account & Billing section, and you can downgrade your plan at any time, but it will take effect on the next billing cycle.
